What Web 2.0 Bubble?
September 25, 2007
There isn’t a Web 2.0 bubble you say? Really. Then how do you explain this? News hit today that Microsoft, crazy to get into the Web 2.0 game after sitting on the sidelines watching Yahoo and Google, is looking at to purchase five percent of Facebook for $300-500 million. This would make the company worth $6-10 billion. Woah. At around $238 per user, Microsoft and others are confident that Facebook can easily generate that amount in advertising and other services.
We wonder what all those people who thought Zuckerberg was crazy asking for a billion from Yahoo last year have to say now.
