Turns 10!

October 5, 2007

As mentioned earlier, PRNewser was among the crowd at mediabistro’s 10th Anniversary bash last night in NYC. As part of the first “Golden Boa Awards,” readers selected 10 honorees among 10 different media disciplines. You can read interviews with most of the honorees here, including Craigslist’s Craig Newmark, NPR’s Adam Davidson, HarperCollins Publishers Worldwide CEO Jane Friedman and PR maven Ken Sunshine.

Seen among the crowd, and kind enough to chat with PRNewser: BusinessWeek‘s Jon Fine, MarketWatch‘s Jon Friedman, blogging legend (and now Fast Company writer) Elizabeth Spiers, Portfolio/Vanity Fair freelancer Duff Mcdonald, and an Ogilvy ad guy (we’ll let him remain anonymous) that was asking everyone to get him a job at Google because all the ad agencies are going down.

TVNewser reports on the broadcast folk in attendance.

More, including pics, to come.

UPDATE: Duff was in front of the club on the way from the Gawker book party. He is a contributing editor at Portfolio & New York.
