Nintendo PR Department Falling Apart
October 5, 2007
Why is everyone leaving Nintendo PR? On Sept. 14th, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, George Harrison announced he was leaving. Then, two weeks later Senior Director of Public Relations, Beth Llewelyn, jumped ship. Lucky number three is Juli Roether, who according to Wired, spent seven years working on the Nintendo account at GolinHarris, and will now lead video game speciality PR shop Kohnke Communications new Los Angeles office.
With Halo dominating and Xbox now outselling Wii, Nintendo needs a new team, fast.
